Announce Plans for Senshi Dolls #19 + IRL situation...

Hello,

I'm here to announce two things that's going to happen, both comic-side and IRL-side.

The first is that Senshi Dolls #19 - Ami's Dream will be releasing EXCLUSIVELY on my new site, mercomix.com, for ONE WEEK, before other stores, itch.io and DeviantArt.

I would like to kick off the new site on the right step, so this is a great opportunity to try it out.

Please support the release so I can bring more in the future.

With that said, the other is one that is related to the comic's release...

Most of you don't know my IRL stuff, so let's get to that:

I was on Social Security Disability benefits for a good amount of years. I used it as a safety net for necessities and other things like art commissions. On Friday, while I was at work, my protective payee informed me that Social Security decided to end my benefits due to be being able to work and earn more than what SSDI can give me. And, I have to owe them back for a couple years worth of benefits I had since I started making more, which is over $10,000.

It was overwhelming to me to hear this news, and I was at a loss. But thankfully, my payee paid $8,000 back to SSI and decided to end her services with me, congratulating me on achieving the feat of working my way out of it, and not rely on government to feed me free money.

Now that I'm off Social Security benefits, I will have to work more to keep up with the bills, including backpay of SSDI.

So, going forward, I will be working more hours to keep up, and have a safety net for other things. That means I'll be working 5 hrs/day, M-F. And with another pay increase next month, that will go up just past $17/hr.

I won't be on as much as I used to, though I don't chat much unless I need to.

If issue 19 doesn't sell well in the first week, I'll have to put all the projects on hold until the important things get settled first.

This is going to be a rough start for me, but once this change comes to effect in a couple weeks, I hope to get things back on track.

Thank you, and keep supporting my releases!
